The successful candidate will work closely with the Innovation Project Manager, and EMR’s Engineering team to coordinate and ensure delivery of the requisite work packages and project deliverables. This will include assisting with monitoring of project plans, financial claims and reporting, and scoping out new potential collaboration opportunities.

A key purpose of this role is to ensure that EMR deliver high quality projects, by fulfilling all necessary project criteria and reporting requirements.

What you will be doing:

You will support EMR’s work on all collaborative R&D projects and assist in developing and monitoring progress on project second level plans, budgets, exploitation plans and work packages.

You will support consortium meetings and the preparation of reports to funding bodies and other project collaborators on technical and financial progress of projects and work with EMR colleagues to develop proposals and contacts internally and externally to maintain a pipeline of further collaborative innovation projects

You will also carryout out similar activities in support of the central engineering team as required.

About you:

The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level, with Environmental Science, Geography, Business Management or similar particularly relevant, but not essential.

Being a high-quality communicator is key to this role, along with good numeracy and literacy skills. A fundamental understanding of finance and experience in public presentation of work are of benefit.
