The Document Quality Manager is responsible for maintaining the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of information and guidance within EMR. This individual is responsible for ensuring all how to guides, policies, procedures and documented processes are captured and presented in an accurate and compelling format, all of which fully engages our colleagues and effectively supports their understanding.
What you will be doing:
You will support the EMR’s Process Owners in developing key content and templates alongside the ongoing development of EMR’s document management system and information platforms. They will also assist in the development of specific policies and procedures that align with business strategy and contribute to the overall efficiency and performance of the organisation. Their customer focussed view will ensure that all information and guidance is developed with the end user in mind.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creates, governs and maintains all key documents and templates within EMR’s document management system and information platforms.
- Drives and creates engaging content, presenting information and guidance in an accessible, attractive and compelling format.
- Leads the ongoing development of the Document Control Centre and the Managers and Colleague Toolkits so that they remain relevant, up to date and fully utilised by all Colleagues across EMR .
- Ensures integration of business area policies and procedures.
- Ensures all key documentation is reviewed and updated for accuracy and compliance on a regular and appropriate basis, resulting in standards being maintained.
- Works collaboratively with the Learning and Marketing Teams, to translate policy/procedural documentation into guidance fit-for-purpose for its intended audience.
- Drives continuous improvement of all EMR guidance, policies, procedures and documented process, developing ideas for best practice information and guidance management.
