What you will be doing:

This role is jam packed with things do and learn. No two days will be the same and you certainly wont get bored!

Some of the responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to incidents and service requests logged in person, by telephone, by self-service or email.
  • Ensure all incidents and support requests are logged and maintain complete and accurate records to aid in the resolution and for future reference and audit.
  • Request ownership – keeping the customer fully up to date through the lifecycle of issues and follow up to ensure full resolution of issues.
  • Have the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose IT system problems including Windows operating systems, MS Office, network printing and basic networking issues.
  • Managing individual workload as well as monitoring and taking ownership of new unassigned support tickets.
  • Providing remote support and troubleshooting as well as desk side support, including travel to any of our sites as and when required.



About you:

This is a development role and the individual will be studying an apprenticeship alongside their day to day duties. The Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours required to meet this apprenticeship standard are described here: - the apprentice will be expected to meet this standard during their time on programme. This apprenticeship has been mapped against the apprentice job requirements and intended final job role for the apprentice.


Additional requirements / experience:

  • Over 18 – This is due to no under 18`s being allowed on our sites / depots
  • Learning to drive / Hold a UK driving licence
  • Able to travel across the UK  (including nights away if required)
  • Keen Interest in technology  - (PC`s , electronics, networking, programing)
  • Able to work in a team /on your own
  • Work in a safe manner and follow the company H & S policy
  • Work a shift pattern – Currently 6 – 15:00 / 7:30 -16:30
  • Good communication over the Phone, email and through Microsoft Teams
  • Keep calm when things go wrong and think out of the box to find a solution
  • Able to stay away overnight when demand requires it in order to complete work on site

Package Description

The shift pattern is 6am-3pm / 7.30am – 4.30pm Monday-Friday
