Maintenance Planner

About our opportunity:

We have a fantastic opening for a planner to plan and coordinate all maintenance and servicing activities of the facilities and plant equipment.

What you will be doing:

You'll work with the engineers to develop consistent and effective maintenance procedures, analysing critical spare requirements and stockholding for the site assets.  Along with:

  • Generating and maintaining the asset database for equipment/building fabric and external contracts
  • Managing the setup and implementation of a new CMMS for the business
  • Compiling and presenting weekly reports regarding equipment breakdowns, outstanding maintenance and contractor performance
  • Liaise with all departments to plan and book external contractors
  • Obtain quotes from contractors
  • Issue work permits
  • Assist Central Engineering & Facilities were required

About you:

You'll have experience working in a Facilities Maintenance Environment, with the use of CMMS, Microsoft Office, Excel, and Powerpoint. 

An engineering apprenticeship/HNC (or equivalent) in either mechanical or electrical engineering and a recognised Health and Safety Certificate are preferred but not essential.
