Maintenance Team Leader

You will be responsible for managing a team of mobile maintenance engineers; ensuring planned and reactive maintenance is complete in line with company targets.

What you will be doing:

You will promote a positive Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Culture while providing guidance and support to your team.  You will work to develop improvement plans, implement RCA approach, maintain critical spares levels for routine maintenance and liaise with contractors and suppliers.

Work as part of a team to complete scheduled work on shears and Balers.

Assist in completion of any corrective work highlighted from AC/PPM.

Complete all PPM tasks scheduled.

Plan and provide proactive and reactive engineering support across our midlands sites.

Document all work completed.

About you:

You will have a nationally recognised Mechanical or Electrical time served apprenticeship minimum level 3, be computer literate, have the ability to lead and develop a team.

You'll also have the following skills;

Multi Skilled - Electrical / Mechanical skill set, Power transmission. Basic hydraulics/pneumatics. Basic welding and fabrication.

Able to work as part of a team, equally comfortable working alone and ability to use your own initiative.

Not get flustered when under pressure to achieve targets.

Must have Heavy Industry experience.

Have Health & Safety awareness, experience and qualifications (IOSH etc.)

Must have full UK Driving License
